The Credential America
Needs Right Now
Certified End-of-Life Planner. An entirely new professional category built for the $80 trillion wealth transfer — and the tens of millions of families who have no one to coordinate the financial, legal, and emotional realities of the final decades of life.

The Opportunity
A Market No One Is Serving
More than 11,000 Americans reach age 65 every day. Boomers control over $69 trillion in wealth. Their children will inherit it — and almost none of them are prepared.
Most families have no trust, no updated will, no consolidated accounts, and no documented wishes. When death occurs, families fall into conflict, waste money on probate, and make rushed decisions that destroy wealth built over a lifetime.
No single profession coordinates the entire process. That is the gap the CELP fills.
Two Paths to CELP®
The Same Credential.
Two Powerful Applications.
Whether you want to deepen an existing practice or build something entirely new, CELP® gives you the credential, framework, and community to do it.
Already Serving These Families?
Add the expertise that makes you irreplaceable.
- A credential that signals genuine end-of-life expertise to clients and referral partners
- A structured framework for the complex conversations you're already having
- New service revenue from your existing client base
- A referral network across estate law, hospice, senior living, and beyond
- Relationships that make you the first call when families face life's most difficult transition
“You already serve these clients. CELP gives you the framework, credential, and community to serve them completely.”
Ready to Build Something on Your Own Terms?
A practice built around what matters — with growing demand and no real competition.
- No products to sell. No firm to join. No investment license required.
- A universal market — every family with aging parents needs this service
- Access to a growing referral network across professional sectors
- Work that can't be automated — human coordination at life's hardest moments
- Massive unmet demand with no established profession filling the role
“$80 trillion is changing hands. Tens of millions of families have no one to coordinate what comes next. You can be that person.”
Why Earn CELP®
Why Professionals Choose CELP®
Whether you're building a brand-new practice or adding a powerful new service line to an existing one, CELP® opens doors that no other credential can.
A Career That Stands Alone
CELP® gives you the credential and framework to build an independent consulting practice without managing investments or selling products. The market is universal, untapped, and growing — the demand for professional end-of-life coordination is real and largely unmet.
Deepen Every Client Relationship
For existing financial professionals, CELP transforms client relationships from transactional to essential. When you help a family navigate the most difficult financial event of their lives, you become irreplaceable.
A Natural Referral Ecosystem
CELP® professionals sit at the center of a growing referral ecosystem — estate attorneys, elder law attorneys, CPAs, hospice organizations, senior living communities, and funeral homes. Each profession solves one piece; you coordinate the whole.

Eleven deep-dive modules covering every dimension of end-of-life financial coordination — legal documents, family dynamics, digital estates, tax strategies, industry-specific partnership applications, and the complete Survivors Guide deliverable. Plus a proctored final exam.
Referral Network
A Built-In Referral Ecosystem
Every CELP® professional works alongside families navigating the hardest financial transitions of their lives. That means regular, structured referrals for the professionals who serve those same families — estate attorneys, CPAs, hospice organizations, and more. Join the network and be the professional they call.
Why CPAs join
Final returns, estate tax, and trust accounting — CELP® professionals refer all of it.
Every estate CELP® professionals touch involves tax consequences: final income returns, estate tax filings, inherited IRA distributions, and trust accounting. They don't do tax work — they refer it. Join the CELP® referral network and be the CPA their families call at tax time and beyond.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Built for a Wide Range of Professionals
CELP® is the only credential designed for professionals across multiple disciplines who all touch end-of-life planning — financial, legal, medical, and care. If your clients are aging, this credential is for you.
Turn your most difficult client moments into your strongest relationships.
Most financial advisors are prepared for market volatility — but not for the call when a client's spouse dies or a parent needs memory care. CELP® gives you a complete framework for those moments: what to do, in what order, and how to guide a family through financial decisions when emotions are highest. Advisors with this credential don't just retain clients through difficult times — they become irreplaceable.

How It Works
A Credential Reserved for Those Who Qualify
CELP® is not open enrollment. Every candidate goes through a structured application process designed to ensure the credential means something — to you, to your clients, and to every professional in your referral network.
The interest form at the bottom of this page starts this process — no fee, no commitment. Once we receive your submission, we’ll reach out with formal application details. The steps below describe what happens after that invitation.
Formal Application
Once invited, complete the formal application outlining your professional background and your reason for pursuing CELP®. An application fee is required at this stage — it is fully credited toward your tuition if you are accepted.
Entrance Assessment
Accepted applicants complete a proctored entrance assessment covering foundational knowledge in estate planning, financial coordination, and end-of-life frameworks. This ensures every CELP® candidate starts from a baseline of professional competency.
Background Review
All candidates undergo a professional background review. CELP® professionals work with families during their most vulnerable moments — integrity and professional standing are non-negotiable requirements of the credential.
Acceptance & Enrollment
Accepted candidates receive full access to the CELP® curriculum, the Survivors Guide framework, and earn the CELP® designation upon passing the final exam. Your application fee is credited toward your $3,995 tuition.
